Matador de novillos, natural de Badajoz, que desde 1860 toreó en numerosas plazas de pueblo sin lograr celebridad. Se dio a conocer en Sevilla el 30 de mayo de 1858, y no gustó su trabajo. No llegó a tomar la alternativa en Madrid.
